Relocated from East London to Cape Town. The father is living in the hoe we were staying in since we left ELS. Cpt magistrates court clerk says in need my original divorce decree pack before they can help me with maintenance dispute. ELS divorce department says they cannot post it to CPT. The East London Magistrates court did post all details relating to maintenance order to CPT however. In the meantime the father refuses to pay our rent water schoolfees. He is however paying the interm maintencance of R4000 pm for food and fuel pending investigation. I am the primary caregiver and unemployed. And he is risking us to be without a roof. He says I must take the kids back to ELS to him and I can live in the car or at friends. He is using maintenance as a weapon restricting my basic needs for kids to try force me to go back to ELS . It seems this could take months and the children and I need emergency money by February to cover March rent etc. As people cant keep giving me money.
