Financial abuse, unlike many other forms of GBV, is a SILENT but DEVASTATING form of GBV, undetected but no less harmful to the victims and society at large.
In this a ground breaking one day workshop you will acquire a comprehensive understanding of financial abuse and be better able to protect your client against financial abuse by understanding what it is and how it is executed in and post relationship. You will be exposed to thought provoking information and approach to legal arguments to secure financial support.
It is the most pervasive normalized form of abuse that has a direct impact not only the economic vulnerability of women and children but their physical, emotional and psychological wellbeing and should be held in the same contempt as all other forms of abuse. This workshop will empower you to protect the most vulnerable of your clients and change the trajectory of gender-based violence in South Africa.
