Telephonic and Email MediationsDo you and someone else have a dispute which you both want to resolve and would like to appoint a neutral third party to assist you in doing so? There are many benefits in telephonic and email mediations. For one, you don’t have to be in the same room as the person with whom you have the dispute with and you can be in the comfort of you own environment. The great advantage of email mediations is that you can attend to it when you have the time to do so and don’t have to specifically schedule a time for it. Should you take your dispute to the courts, it may costs you much more than the mediation process. Disputes resolved through the court process with legal practitioners can take very long to reach finality and your dispute is there for all to see. You can telephonically or via email mediate an array of issues, which includes the following: A requirement to make use of this service is that all the parties to the dispute need to unanimously agree to mediate the dispute. Please note that the outcome of the mediation is not binding upon the parties, and if the mediation fails, the parties still have recourse to go to court and make use of attorneys and advocates. Telephonic mediations
Before a date and time can be arranged for the mediation, the parties needs to both first sends us an email outlining the dispute according to each one of them and what they would like to achieve from the mediation. That they do via filling in the fields below and emailing it to us. An example of a dispute would be that they have a child together but cannot agree to what form of visitation should take place. The outcome would be for visitation which would be workable for both parties. A date and time convenient to all would then be arranged for the telephonic mediation session. During this session, all the parties must be close by to their phones and treat all calls from the mediator with priority. As mentioned, at the end of the mediation session, the mediator will provide a written proposal on what would be the best course to resolve the dispute. The costs of a session is R 4000 – 00 (Four Thousand Rand) to be paid in advance. It is preferable that the parties all share this fee. Email Mediations This service is for those people who really do not have the time to set aside for an in person or telephonic mediation session. The mediator will review all the issues the parties have and see if they can find middle ground. This would all be done via email with the mediator in the middle. The added advantage here is that the parties have time to consider what the mediator has to say in his or her emails and then with an open mind respond thereto. Before the mediation can take place, the parties needs to both first sends us an email outlining the dispute according to each one of them and what they would like to achieve from the mediation. That they do via filling in the fields below and emailing it to us. The costs of email mediations depends on the amount of emails that need to be sent and received. However, there is a minimum fee of R 3500 – 00 (Three Thousand Five Hundred Rand) for mediations done via email which needs to be paid in advance.
