If you wish us to assist you with the initial process of lodging an application for maintenance at court, the costs therefore would be R 550 - 00. The approximate allocated time is 1 (one) hour. A paralegal would assist you.
During your session with us, we would advise you on the maintenance court process, what you may expect at court and also assist you in filling in your application form.
At the end of the session, you should have your application in order for lodging. You should also have an understanding on what to expect at court and guidelines on what to do until you appear at court. E.g. we would advise you on how to keep records of your income and expenses and what other documents / information to collect for the maintenance enquiry.
